Dental caries remains the most common health condition worldwide, affecting 46% of children (ages 2–19) and nearly 90% of adults (ages 20–64) in the United States alone. This comprehensive symposium explores the latest developments in caries prevention while dispelling common myths and addressing real-world challenges in clinical practice. Participants will gain insights into the multifactorial nature of caries including dietary habits and socioeconomic influences and learn practical strategies to reduce risk and improve patient outcomes.
