Description:

Patients often present with a variety of clinical indications for altering gingival and alveolar levels ranging from caries and restorative needs to aesthetic concerns. In many cases, crown lengthening offers a more predictable and tooth-conserving solution than extraction and implant placement. This hands-on workshop will demonstrate key surgical techniques, including flap elevation and tissue contouring, to achieve optimal clinical outcomes. Participants will also learn various suturing methods designed to enhance flap stabilization and healing.

• differentiate between hopeless and restorable teeth
• understand and apply various flap elevation techniques for crown lengthening
• perform effective techniques for flap stabilization using different suturing methods
