Description:

Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) has become an essential tool in modern dentistry, offering enhanced diagnostic accuracy and improved treatment planning. This course provides a practical overview of how CBCT technology can be integrated into general dental practice. Participants will learn how to navigate CBCT software, interpret scans, identify relevant anatomy and pathology, and apply findings to clinical decision-making.

Emphasis will be placed on using CBCT for endodontics, oral surgery, and implant dentistry including single and multiple implant planning. The course will also explore how CBCT can improve detection of conditions such as maxillary sinusitis of odontogenic origin and early signs of Ludwig’s Angina.

Learn to:

• identify key radiographic landmarks on CBCT scans
• utilize CBCT in treatment planning for endodontics, surgery, and implant placement
• recognize and diagnose maxillary sinusitis of dental origin and early Ludwig’s Angina
• confidently treatment plan an implant case using CBCT data
