Description:

This evidence-based course begins with a review of the biology of local anesthetics, providing a foundation for reliably achieving profound anesthesia— especially in cases involving the “hot tooth.” The presentation then delves into strategies for efficient access to the pulp chamber and the identification of root canal system orifices, with a special focus on calcified canals and the often-elusive MB2 canal. Using anatomical landmarks, attendees will learn a systematic approach for minimally invasive engagement with the canal system. The course also covers a shaping protocol designed to successfully navigate even the most highly curved canals.
