Interested in adding sedation to your dental practice but unsure where to start? This introductory course offers a practical review of office-based sedation for dental patients. You’ll learn where dental sedation fits on the anesthesia spectrum, how to select the right patients for safe and successful outcomes and gain an understanding of the medications, techniques, risks, and limitations involved. A special focus will also be given to intravenous sedation and its role in patient care. Expand your skills, boost patient comfort, and grow your practice safely and confidently!

• identify which patients are good candidates for in-office dental sedation
