Description:

Step into the world of a pediatric dentist for a morning of engaging, real- life cases. This interactive session will explore the diagnosis and management of Late Childhood Caries (LCC) and how it differs from Early Childhood Caries (ECC). Participants will also examine cases of dental erosion, from initial recognition to collaborative care with medical professionals treating underlying gastrointestinal conditions. The course continues with a review of pediatric periodontal diseases, guiding attendees through the diagnostic process. We’ll conclude with some of the more whimsical challenges of pediatric dentistry: managing misbehaving teeth including aberrant eruption patterns, ankylosis, and mesiodens.
