Description

This program discusses the underlying root causes of Sleep-related Breathing Disorders (SRBD), airway orthodontics, malocclusion and the potential orthodontic conditions in the pediatric patient. The evaluations focus on oral habits, jaw development, compromised airway, sleep issues, and breathing habits. This program demonstrates the effectiveness of a uniquely designed oral appliance therapy that uses a 3-dimensional type of treatment and a series of protocols to correct malocclusions, promote growth and development and guide incoming teeth into proper alignment while expanding the arches. This unique system provides built-in myofunctional therapy activated by swallowing which eliminates poor oral habits and creates proper lifelong habits. This comprehensive phase 1 treatment provides your patients with a HealthyStart for a lifetime of better health and well-being.

Learn:

  • to define SRBD and airway issues
  • the outward symptoms of SRBD through a sleep questionnaire
  • the underlying root causes; improper oral habits, lack of growth and development, jaw relationships and arch expansion
  • a 3-dimensional treatment system that utilizes built-in myofunctional therapy with a 94% compliance rate
  • how natural forces combined with a non-invasive appliance system can promote forward growth, development of the dentition, correction of malocclusions and provide stable results for a lifetime
