Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR) has been a cornerstone of implant site development for over three decades. In this interactive, hands-on workshop, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of how to manage ridge defects to ensure optimal outcomes in implant dentistry. Emphasis will be placed on both the timing and technique of bone regeneration whether performed prior to or simultaneously with implant placement.

A structured decision-making framework will be introduced to help clinicians evaluate extraction sockets and determine whether immediate implant placement or a staged approach is most appropriate. The course will also address key aspects of socket preservation, material selection, flap management, and suturing techniques. Through live demonstrations and practice on models, attendees will refine their surgical skills and gain confidence in applying predictable, evidence-based GBR protocols in daily clinical practice.
