This hands-on workshop provides participants with certification or recertification in accordance with the latest American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines. Designed specifically for dental professionals, the course covers systematic responses to medical emergencies that may arise in the dental office, including cardiac and respiratory arrest and airway obstruction. Instruction includes adult, child, and infant protocols, ensuring comprehensive training for real-life preparedness.

Learn to:

• understand and apply current AHA-certified guidelines for managing cardiac and respiratory emergencies
• perform high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants
• demonstrate proper rescue breathing techniques and use of a Bag Valve Mask (BVM)
• manage foreign body airway obstruction (choking) in adult, child, and infant patients
