Description:

This presentation focuses on the fundamentals of bone augmentation of deficient ridges in preparation for dental implant therapy. Attendees get a good overview of well-established techniques such as Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR) protocols as well as learning about a newer, novel approach involving custom bone block allografts for achieving successful and predictable ridge augmentation. Emphasis will also be placed on materials properties and selection for optimizing regenerative outcomes.
