Orofacial pain frequently presents in the general dental setting, however not all facial pain originates from a tooth. This course will provide a practical guide to help clinicians differentiate odontogenic pain from musculoskeletal, neuropathic, and neurovascular conditions. Through case-based discussion and clear diagnostic algorithms, participants will learn how to reduce unnecessary procedures, improve patient communication, and confidently determine when referral is indicated.
