Description:

This lecture presents the key principles for achieving predictable esthetic outcomes with anterior composite resin restorations, focusing on three essential elements: TOF (translucency, opalescence, and fluorescence), shape, and polishing. Participants learn how the optical properties of different composite materials influence esthetic integration and how appropriate material selection improves clinical results. The lecture also demonstrates how line angles, transitional surfaces, and anatomical contouring affect the visual appearance of anterior restorations. Clinical videos illustrate practical polishing techniques that preserve anatomical form while achieving a durable, highly esthetic surface finish.
