Description

Autogenous block harvesting has several limitations and often deters practitioners to obtain such grafts. The utilization of allogenic cortico cancellous blocks has expanded the scope of treatment predictably to create ideal prosthetic outcomes. One can avoid cantilever and buccal offsets and create natural emergence profiles with the increased width that often produces optimal soft tissue biotypes. This workshop reviews step-by-step the technique of creating a stable recipient bed and the incorporation of allogenic block with bone fixation screws and soft tissue closure.

Learn to:
  • diagnose aveolar atrophy and to classify bone resorption pattern for appropriate management
  • review step-by-step principles of allogenic block grafting techniques
  • review principles of obtaining soft tissue closure and utilization of membranes
